A late-night boba run built for UCLA Hill residents, with a lobby handoff instead of a walk down to Gayley.
Join the prototype waitlistThis page is a concept preview. Midnight Boba is not operating yet — hours, pricing and service areas below are proposals open to feedback.
Why it exists
Research on nearby shops shows the closest boba to campus closes around 11pm on weeknights, and the Hill requires every guest to be signed in at an access desk between 9pm and 5am. That leaves a real gap after midnight.
No Westwood boba shop reliably serves past midnight. A proposed 8pm–2am window targets the hours students told us they actually order.
UCLA housing rules require guests to be signed in at access desks after 9pm, so we meet you in the lobby — never at your room door.
Orders are built for the 2–4 person study or post-party group, so one delivery covers the whole room instead of four separate trips.
How it works
Pick your drinks and a lobby window on the proposed 8pm–2am schedule.
You get a heads-up before the runner leaves, so you can head down with your group.
Collect your order at the access desk area — signed in and above board with housing rules.
Proposed menu & pricing
Research put nearby milk teas between $6.25 and $8.15. These prototype tiers sit inside that band and include the delivery run.
$6.75 / drink
Single cup$6.25 / drink
Four-cup study pack$8.15 / drink
Premium buildMenu and prices are proposals for the pilot and will change once supply costs are confirmed.
Proposed service area & hours
These are the areas the pilot is scoped for. Nothing is confirmed until the waitlist tells us where demand actually is.
Hours are a starting proposal, not a published schedule. They shift with demand and staffing.
FAQ
No. This is a prototype landing page collecting interest before launch. Every price, hour and service area shown is a proposal, and no orders are being accepted yet.
UCLA on-campus housing requires guests to be signed in at an access desk between 9pm and 5am. The proposed model has the runner wait in the lobby area so you sign them in at the desk and collect your order there, rather than meeting at your room.
Research shows late-night orders usually come from groups of two to four after studying or a night out. Batching those into one delivery keeps the per-drink price inside the $6.25–$8.15 range seen at nearby Westwood shops.
Prototype waitlist
Leave your email and we will send a short survey about which dorm and which hours matter most. This is a waitlist and feedback form only — it does not place an order and does not sign you up for a live service.
